Finally feeling well enough to get some work done, here’s another Vincent Price portrait that I’ve been working on for a while.
Hope you enjoy it!

I’m way late to post this, but “real” life keeps getting in the way… Anyway, Scarefest was a BLAST! What a great convention. I’m hoping to become a permanent fixture.
Thanks to everyone who came out and supported what I’m doing! It was great to get so much positive feedback.
I’m so happy October is here, but it’s real depressing knowing that the convention season is coming to an end.

Here’s a few pics from the weekend….
I was lucky enough to get a few of my portraits signed… From top left, Gunnar Hanson (aka Leatherface) Doug Bradley (aka Pinhead) Kane Hodder (aka Jason) and Chris Carnell (aka The Miner/Harry Warden) great guys all.
Justin (aka killjoy77 from the Deadpit.com board) got his first tattoo at the con, and decided to base it on one of my portraits of Frankenstein’s Monster
Speaking of Deadpit, it was a lot of fun hanging out with The Creepy Kentuckian and Uncle Bill. I had the pleasure of having dinner with them and Dana (aka EvilDeadChick) and her cousin Heather.
I also did a portrait of the DeadPit guys, which you can pick up at a convention soon.
I came home with a lot of swag, here are a few of the shirts I got from Fast Custom Shirts. Kick ass stuff for $10.00 a piece, GO GET YOURSELF ONE TODAY!
I did some web site work for my friend Cap from Twisted Visions in exchange for some stuff. Like these two vintage Ben Cooper Universal Monsters Wolfman and Mummy masks to go with my Frankenstein.
We also traded for this Friday the 13th Part IV, Jason Voorhees hood to go with my mask. Cap does some amazing work. Be sure to head on over to Twisted Visions to check out more of his stuff.
One of my favorite things to do at a con is trade, I’m always open to do a trade. Billy Tackett and his wife were awesome people and he was cool enough to trade for this fantastic Karloff Ardeth Bey print. I also traded a few prints to Vlad’s Vault of Horror for this keychain and this guy bellow…
This is a life size skeleton of a child, “My Dark Passenger” road all the way back to Michigan in the passenger seat. Man did I get some looks in the middle of nowhere Ohio!
I also got this Bat, I’ve been kicking myself since I passed on getting on back in March at the Horror Hound show.
Back home… this was the round trip millage, but it was worth it for sure!
When I got home I discovered a piece of art waiting for me from one of my all time favorite artists. Chris (Mr. Bones) Burns did this piece based on a photo of my wife. I’m in love with his work… check him out for yourself!
Here’s the original image of Mrs. ScOttRa that Mr. Bones used as a reference.

Thanks to Cap from Twisted Visions for throwing a machete into our trade, I was FINALLY able to put this together. I’ve been wanting to finish this for almost two years now.
So that’s it! Here’s looking forward to Horror Hound Cincinnati next month, hopefully I’ll see some of you there!
