I just got the sad news that one of my heroes has passed on…  Frank Frazetta has died at age 82 of complications from a stroke.  My first exposure to Frank’s work came on the covers of the Lancer editions of Robert E. Howard’s Conan books,  just hearing the name “Frazetta” evoked a sense of high adventure.  There can be no doubt his work will live on and continue to spark the imagination until the end of time. My prayers go out to his family.  Here are a few of the images that graced the covers of the Conan books I spoke of.
